Supportive Parent Coaching
Supportive Parent Coaching for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a structured approach designed to help parents effectively implement ABA strategies in their child's daily life. The goal of Supportive Parent Coaching is to provide knowledge of ABA principles that include behavior management strategies, as well as skill development. Key components that could be expected include Reinforcement, Prompting, Visual Aide, and more evidence based interventions.
In Community Work
Community work in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) focuses on extending evidence-based interventions beyond clinical or home settings to real-world environments. This approach helps individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges build independence, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in community settings that can include work settings, extracurricular activities, or learning how to navigate your local community.
Acts of Daily Living
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) can help individuals learn to complete Acts of Daily Living (ADL) to help promote independence to try to include overall quality of life. ADLs include fundamental self-care tasks necessary for daily functioning, which are often taught using evidence-based ABA strategies such as reinforcement, task analysis, prompting, and chaining.
